When Thiru. S. Regupathy established the Karpaga Vinayaga Educational Trust in 1993, he was driven by a simple conviction: education is one of the most meaningful ways to serve society. He believed that institutions should create opportunities for ordinary families, enabling young people to build better futures through learning.
Over the years, that conviction took shape through a growing network of institutions dedicated to education and healthcare. Rather than seeing each institution as an achievement in itself, he viewed it as a long-term commitment to the communities it served.
The values he championed; access, integrity, and service, continue to define the Karpaga Vinayaga Educational Group. Today, KVELL carries that legacy forward, building on the foundation he laid while preparing students for the opportunities and challenges of a changing world.

He has been instrumental in establishing KVELL, bringing the Trust’s institutions together under a multidisciplinary university that encourages collaboration, innovation, and research. Guided by the Trust’s founding values, Dr. Annamalai Regupathy continues to strengthen opportunities for quality education while fostering an environment where students are empowered to learn, lead, and contribute with purpose.

As Managing Trustee, Mrs. Saroja Regupathy has played an important role in preserving the values that have guided the Trust since its inception, ensuring that growth is always matched by responsibility.
She believes that education has the power to transform lives and strengthen communities. Her approach to leadership is grounded in integrity, compassion, and thoughtful governance—principles that continue to shape the Trust’s culture and its commitment to students and their families.
