About Campus Rules and Regulations
A campus runs smoothly when everyone understands the basic expectations upfront, not after something goes wrong. These are the general rules that apply across KVELL’s campus, covering working hours, conduct, and the day-to-day standards that keep the environment functional, safe, and respectful for every student.
General Information
- Working Days: Monday to Friday
- Working Hours: 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM (academic hours);
Library 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM on working days, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM on holidays - Computer Centre: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM on working days, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM on holidays
Rules and Regulations
- Students must wear their ID card at all times inside the campus and are expected to behave with decorum
- Formal dress is required; male students must wear leather shoes
- Students may not leave campus during working hours without proper permission
- A minimum of 75% attendance is mandatory to appear for university examinations
- Fees must be paid within the stipulated period; defaulters will be removed from the roll
- Damage to college buildings or furniture will be recovered from the students responsible, or collectively if individual responsibility cannot be established
- Students are strictly prohibited from participating in political or other organized movements on campus
- Students are expected to help maintain the campus’s cleanliness and greenery; wall posters and writing on walls or roads are prohibited
- Students are responsible for the safekeeping of their personal belongings
- Ragging is strictly prohibited and will lead to severe punishment under government and UGC guidelines
- The campus is entirely tobacco-free; possession or use of tobacco products is treated as a serious violation with strict disciplinary action
